Jordan Vauvert Comme les albums de Trhä ou Le Loups des Ruines de Miséricorde, Medraut One est une faille temporelle, un anachronisme pratiqué par trois entités confidentielles — Revenant Marquis, Lungtoucher et Maiden Hair — du raw black metal britannique. Et comme les deux autres groupes cités plus haut, Medraut refuse de faire ça avec des pseudo-clavecins ou des effets de pacotille : atmosphérique, cet album nous fait entrer dans un cauchemar éveillé. En espérant voir la sortie un jour d'un Medraut Two... Favorite track: Strife of Camlann.

Jeremy K This is a masterpiece. These guys definitely know what they are doing.

goldgeller This is good stuff. Comparisons to Revenant Marquis are hard to avoid. This is more easily digestible but still raw and gritty sounding. I had no problem at all letting this play while I was out and I never once got tired of any of the riffs. This is one for multiple blasts. Favorite track: Avalon Unbound.

Formed of members of Revenant Marquis, Lungtoucher & Maiden Hair. MEDRAUT enters the realm rather boldly by forgoing the courtesies of a stifled cycle of a demo first, then an ep rhetoric and instead have just dropped all formalities and produced a debut album featuring 9 tracks of harrowingly violent Black Metal that has somehow managed to encompass it's entities into one without feeling restricted, weak or uninventive.
